How will you come?

The city does not have an airport. The nearest airport is “Megas Alexandros” of Kavala, from which it is about 50 km by road, i.e. less than 1 hour, as well as the airport “Macedonia” of Thessaloniki.

You can reach Drama by train, directly from Athens or Thessaloniki, with frequent daily services. The Railway Station is 5 minutes from the city centre.

There is the option of intercity buses. Buses depart from Athens daily twice a day. From Thessaloniki the routes are more frequent and depart every 1-1.5 hours.

With your car you can easily reach Drama, following Egnatia Odos until the exit for Amfipoli and from there you will drive for another 50 km on the national road Amfipoli – Drama. The road is relatively comfortable and with moderate traffic.

Kavala has a port, and is connected by ferry to many islands, such as Thassos, Samothraki, Lemnos and Lesvos. Kavala is half an hour away from the city of Drama.
